Strawberries $1.88/lb
These are advertised as Driscoll berries (or at least signage in the store said so) but there was another brand on the shelf when I was at Osgood Hornbacher's on Wednesday. I still have 2 .50 Driscoll berries coupons, and they expire at the end of this month, so if you come across Driscoll berries, come back and leave me a comment!

My friend was not allowed to use the Snuggle coupon at the Hornbacher's on 13th! They said something along the lines of it was too high of a value. She took it to the courtesy desk and they did give it to her. Makes me not like Hornbacher's. Normally I have great luck there, but I was at the south store this week and for some reason the computer did not double two of my coupons (from the paper even!). I asked why and they said sometimes the machine does not double them! Ack!! Does anyone have Hornbacher's coupon policy? I do not like these random inconsistencies!!! j!
ReplyDeleteI know hat at Hornbacher's they will not double beyond the value of the product...no overage. If something is on sale for .88 and you have a .50 coupon you get .50 plus .38 I think FMCHEAPSKATE explained this once before that the number in front of the bar code tells if it will double or not.
ReplyDeleteStephanie
Thanks Stephanie. I realize that there is no overage, but that was not the case here. They just didn't double it. It did not say do not double, and the product was more than the double was worth. Thanks anyway! j!
ReplyDeleteIf you go to the Hornbacher's ad online it states "Hornbacher's is happy to double manufacturer's coupons, 7 days a week:
ReplyDelete50 cents = $1, those 51 to 99 cents = $1, and those $1 or higher are gladly accepted for face value "
