Pride of Dakota Holiday ShowcaseThis year's Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase will be at the Fargo Civic Center this weekend 11/19-11/21. Hundreds of North Dakota artisans feature their gifts, art, soaps, food products, apparel and so much more. Hours are Friday 6-9 PM, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-5. Admission is $2 and you'll receive a FREE reusable bag, or bring your own for $1 off admission! Children 12 and under are free.
Awesome Art Afternoon
Fargo Parks is hosting an Awesome Art Afternoon on Saturday 11/20 from 1-3 PM at Robert D. Johnson Rec Center at 1104 2nd Ave S in Fargo. There will be a variety of FREE make and take art projects for children. For more info head over here.
It's a Wonderful Night
West Acres is hosting a community shopping event, It's A Wonderful Night, Sunday 11/21 from 6-9 PM. Participating mall retailers will be offering special discounts, there will be door prizes, holiday entertainment and the Santa photo shop will be open. Admission tickets are $5 (6 and under FREE) and 100% of ticket sales benefit local fundraising organizations. Purchase your tickets at the Mall or directly from participating organizations.
Holiday Tree Lighting and Holiday Lights ParadeAt 5:30 on Tuesday 11/23 in Moorhead's Davy Park (1st Ave N and 8th St N), watch Mayor Voxland light the holiday tree, enjoy carolers, cocoa and treats. Then, watch the Holiday Lights Parade starting at 6:30. Parade starts at 8th St and Center Ave in Downtown Moorhead and goes west into Fargo. For the full route, head over here.

ReplyDeleteSam's club is doing its Taste of Sams event this weekend where there are lots and lots of samples featuring holiday foods. :-)
(Even if you don't have a membership, you can tell the person at the door that you would just like to look around the store to see if you are ineterested in a membership.)
