There are a few family and budget friendly events going on around town this weekend. Here are just a few:
Saturday, November 6th from 10:00 - 11:00, join Penny & Pals, Kohl's and Sanford Children's Hospital at Probstfield in Moorhead as Kohl's awards a $40,000 check to Sanford. There will be a Penny & Pals concert, and kids and adults bike helmets available for only $5! Though the event is free, participants are encouraged to bring a new or gently used book for 3 - 5 year olds that will be donated to Head Start and Nokomis Child Care Centers.
Park Christian School is holding it's 2010 Fun Fair at the North Moorhead campus (300 N 17th St) on Saturday, November 6th from 3:00 - 6:00. There will be giveaways, prizes, games and concessions. Admission is $1 and game tickets are only $0.25! Awesome price for a carnival!

Shoe Carnival is opening tomorrow. First 100 people (I think) get $10 gift cards and I believe they're giving away a $1000 gift card at 11am.
