Down at the bottom of the coupon it specifically states- No other coupon may be used with this coupon. Hornbachers mhd did not left me use it with Mfr's.
ReplyDeleteI called Hornbacher's corporate on that wording before and they said that we CAN use manufacturer coupons with the store coupon. Also, Act II popcorn is on sale for $.98 and there were $.50 coupons in the 2-27 SS making them free!
ReplyDeleteSuzette, thanks for sharing that. Wonder why they keep printing it with that wording? I feel like sometimes it says that and sometimes it doesn't. In my experience, it's always been treated like a store coupon, and allowed stacking. Confusing!
ReplyDeleteI see that the honeynut cheerio coupon states do not double or triple. Do you have issues with them not doubling it at hornbachers?
ReplyDeleteLaura
How random. I will have to try it again! And awesome on the popcorn Suzette, I was craving some last night.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this is one of those instances where we will have to ask Coorperate for a written document saying is can be combine... hope it won't come to that! :}
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzette for making the call!
Laura, in my experience at least, Hornbacher's doubles them automatically regardless of wording on the coupon. It's possible a cashier could manually override it, but not likely.
ReplyDeleteThe checkout lady I had last time hassled me about using both manufacturer coupons and the store coupon. She said they had a notice on their board saying they weren't supposed to take both. If they aren't going to allow stacking, I might as well go somewhere else where I can!
ReplyDeleteI had no problem using both manuf & store Q at Southgate last night.
