I'm not so sure this is the best deal on milk and cereal. Basically you'll pay $12 for 7 cereals and 1 gallon of milk. But, since I consider a gallon of milk to be worth about $3, and won't pay more than $1/box for these cereals, you'd have to have coupons to make it a good deal in my mind.
If you still have .70/1 blinkie coupons that were in the store some time ago, you could do this:

How do you freeze the cheese? Do you just put it in the freezer in the original packaging or do you use freezer bags, etc.?
ReplyDeleteI usually just freeze them in the original packaging. I've found for shreds, there is not noticeable taste or texture difference after thawing. For the chunks, they can crumble more easily after thawing, but even when eating it plain, the difference isn't enough to stop me from stocking up and freezing!
ReplyDeleteAlso, keep in mind that cheese will keep a long time in your fridge if it's not opened - just check the date. I tend to keep several in the back of the fridge where it's coldest, so not all of them have to be frozen.
